The Ranch is the primary exhibition venue for art dealer Max Levai.
A 4,500 square foot renovated Carl Fisher barn features two distinct exhibition spaces while a twin structure to the east remains an active horse stable. Adjacent to the barns is a four acre field dedicated to open-air art installations, outdoor sculpture presentations, and cultural projects.
The Ranch is located in Montauk, New York, the bucolic easternmost tip of Long Island, known locally as “The End of the World.” Nestled between America’s most iconic surf breaks and surrounded by horse trails that run from the Atlantic to the Sound, The Ranch is actively defined by its natural surroundings. The twenty-six acre property is home to the oldest continuously operating ranch in the country, a privately-owned horse farm specialized in the training of cutting horses.
The Ranch activates and cultivates its unique surroundings with agricultural, ecological, and artistic initiatives, providing the optimal context to exhibit important bodies of art.
