MONTAUK, N.Y. - October 2026 - The Offshore Art & Film Festival returns to Montauk for its fifth year October 22-24, 2026, bringing together independent filmmakers, artists and the local community for three days of film, live music and conversation at venues throughout Montauk.

Night 1
Thursday, October 22 - Director's Meet & Greet
The festival opens Thursday from 7-9 p.m. at Shagwong Restaurant with a Director's Meet & Greet, bringing filmmakers, festival organizers, guests and members of the public together ahead of the weekend's screenings.

Night 2
Friday, October 23 - Opening Night at the Montauk Yacht Club
Opening Night begins at 6 p.m. at the Montauk Yacht Club, with live music and the festival's step-and-repeat ahead of the 7 p.m. film program.
Friday's nine official selections span narrative, documentary, comedy and experimental filmmaking: Something Pointless, directed by Asa Bailey; Under One Roof, directed by John Gebhart; The Liars of Black Mountain Road and Hell, directed by Parker Croft; Mouthfeel, directed by Max Tullio; Dog Days of Summer, directed by Artie Brennan; They Took the Sky, directed by Jack Bart; Ball Lightning, directed by Catriona Baker; and I Wanted to Hear Your Voice, directed by James Pellerito.
The evening concludes with a filmmaker Q&A, giving audiences an opportunity to hear directly from participating filmmakers.

Night 3
Saturday, October 24 - Surf & Skate Night at the Montauk Playhouse
Saturday's Surf & Skate Night begins at 6 p.m. at the Montauk Playhouse Community Center, with live music ahead of a 7 p.m. program celebrating surf, skate, outdoor adventure and coastal culture.
Saturday's official selections are Adrift with Aegir, directed by David O'Donnell; High Tide Low Tide, directed by Lukasz Ratuski; Roots, directed by George Madison; Salty, directed by Josh Martin and Alex Raban; Entrada, directed by Brett Schreckengost; and the evening's featured closing film, The Athletes, directed by Bryan Downey.
Filmed at a four-week therapeutic surf camp in Montauk, The Athletes follows FLOW, a program that brings children and young adults with Down syndrome and autism together with local volunteers, lifeguards and surf instructors for an individualized surfing experience. FLOW Surf Academy Founder & East Coast Director Bob Miller, along with members of the organization's board, will be in attendance for the screening.
Surf & Skate Night concludes with a filmmaker Q&A following the screenings.
